Strengths: Fast, great screen, bluetooth
Weakness: 1.5" thick.
This is a beautiful machine. It's got mediadirect so whenever you wanna watch movies, listen to music, just hit the button, it goes to media center directly without booting up windows xp. It saves a lot of time when I want to show the pictures to my friends. The screen is pretty sharp. Viewing angle not bad either. Great product.
Strengths: Price, design, Dell product support(if you talk with someone who speaks fluent English), ease of ordering, tons of options to choose from,
Weakness: The materials used on the actual laptop itself seemed a bit cheap. It comes preloaded with tons of junk but a fresh install of windows solves all that.
I've used many notebooks in my time but these Dells can't be beat for the bang for the buck ratio. I paid $800 for a Centrino 1.66, 1 gig ram, 40 hd and cdburner. The same configuration would cost upwards of $1000 if bought from stores like Best Buy and Circuit City. The things I like best about this laptop are: screen-its amazing, so clear and detailed! speed-powered by Intel so its among the...
Strengths: Powerful, Decent Aesthetics, Included Card Reader
Weakness: Pre-loaded with LOTS of junk software.
The E1505 is portable, but not meant for lengthy walks. With that said, it's also somewhat compact, with a smaller height than similarly configured competing systems. I opted for a True Life screen upgrade, which gets annoying in certain environments since it includes a glossy coating. The touchpad is spacious - much larger than on my older Compaq laptop. The keyboard layout is pretty standard,...
Strengths: Sleek, lightweight, stylish, thin, great performance.
Weakness: None yet.
I have always owned Dell desktops but decided to buy a laptop with going wireless in mind. When I saw their 10 Days of Deals promotion I figured this was the best time to purchase a laptop. Intel's new Duo Core Processor offering faster performance while doing multiple tasks drew me in immediately. The processor was offered in both the E1505 and E1705 but the 15.4 inch screen on the E1505 was...
Strengths: From Dell. You cannot get a cheaper laptop for whatever configuration from other vendors like IBM, Sony, Compaq, etc
Weakness: Too clumsy and the price of the product changes dynamically
I have been using this product for about a month and its absolutely fantastic. You cannot get a cheaper laptop anywhere than dell, whatever may be the configuration you are thinking about. The weakness are, it comes with some pre-loaded junk softwares which occupies space of your hard drive.
Strengths: Two CPUs. Nice screen
Weakness: Bulky
The design is better than the previous model. Screen is very sharp and bright. This laptop's got build-in card reader, which comes in handy if you have a digital camera. The speed is really fast. Applications are lauched quickly. The only drawback is it's weight. A little bit heavy. But with so many cool features, there's nothing I can complain.
Great thing
Strengths: Good looking Customizeable Good delivery
Weakness: A bit heavy
I bought it directly from Dell, and i had ton of options to select. Really great since i had a good chance to grab what i want and i don't have to pay for what i don't. I get Dual 2 core 1.83 Ghz, 2 GB Memory, 128 ATI Graphic card at 1150$, actually i paid less since I'm in a discount program. I didn't buy the service, since I'm good enough to fix things in software, or know what to do to config...
